Grounds Crew Recognized for Composting Efforts

The Central Campus Grounds crew earned the College’s “Mustang Spot Award” for implementing a composting program for leaves, grass clippings other green waste generated on campus.

See the Aug. 8 post “Compost Pile Yields First ‘Crop’ of Top Dressing” for information about the composting program.

The Mustang Spot Award is a flexible and spontaneous way by which the College recognizes an individual or group of individuals for making a significant “above and beyond” contribution to the advancement of the College’s strategic plan.
